was i crazy yesterday?

i can't believe that i wrote in yesterday's post that the lupron symptoms were manageable? today, i'm feeling very differently. last night was the worst night's sleep of my life (well maybe i'm being dramatic - but it was pretty bad!) i was up at least a dozen times, just burning up. after a while i could pretty much predict the hot flash coming. i'd wake up with a bit of a headache, and then my face would feel warm, and then i'd just lie there and wait for a feeling of fire to wash over my whole body. the heat would stay with me for about 15 minutes or so and then i'd get cold. i'd have a hard time getting back to sleep, so i'd turn on the tv until i'd finally fall asleep, and then about 30 minutes later, i'd be up again and start the cycle all over again! i didn't get out of bed this morning until about 10:00 a.m. thank God it's a holiday today (Canadian Thanksgiving) because i don't know how i would have gotten to work. i was so dead tired this morning. this can't go on for another 2 months!

i was out at a thanksgiving craft show in vineland, ontario yesterday. i bought some tea from a group called "Sweet Dove Herbs". the tea is called 'baby crone tea' and it's supposed to help with hot flashes, sweats and sleeplessness. it's made with sage, oatstraw, mallow, hops and st. johns wort. i hope this helps. i've bought from this company before and they always have really nice teas for various ailments and stages of women's lives as well as some creams for skin conditions. their stuff is all natural. i've included a link to their website.

i'm going to go out for a bike ride along the boardwalk at the beach now while i have a little bit of energy.
